We're thrilled to confirm our headline speaker for this years TIO UK conference in Manchester: Dr Grant Collins, known globally as @thebracesguy. Dr Collins has amassed more than 4.6 million TikTok followers and 340,000 Instagram followers and is arguably the most recognised orthodontist on social media in the world! Dr Collins is also the founder of Collins Orthodontics in Rochester, Minnesota, a practice that has totally redefined what brand building, patient experience and community marketing look like in orthodontics. Remarkably, his practice runs no paid digital advertising and has limited reliance on dental referrals. Instead, his patient flow is generated almost entirely through brand strength, organic social media, exceptional patient experience and word-of-mouth demand. He is also the creator of The Donut, a bakery inside his practice that supports local families and funds braces for children who are cancer survivors, a reflection of his focus on community connection as a core part of his brand. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Coyne is recognised in Australia for her orthodontic leadership in the practical integration of digital systems and remote monitoring into everyday orthodontic workflows. She is a leading member of TIO and is widely regarded within the Australian orthodontic community as a speaker, first adopter and innovator, known for trialling and refining emerging technologies before they reach mainstream clinical use. Dr Coyne is an expert in clear aligner therapy, an early adopter of DentalMonitoring, and a regular speaker on digital transformation, technology and systemisation, with recent presentations at the OrthoTech Forum in Australia and the TIO ANZ Conference in Fiji. Her recent teaching focuses on integrating multiple digital platforms, AI tools and Angel Aligner workflows into clinical practice. She is known for her real-world, clinic-tested approach and for generously sharing the insights and learnings gained as a first adopter, helping other orthodontists confidently implement digital technologies into everyday practice
